My first few Ayahuasca ceremonies in 2018...
Dissolved about 95% of my chronic guilt, shame, and anxiety at the time.
The past that had previously seemed so all-surrounding and suffocating...
Seemed to collapse down to something two-dimensional, lightweight, almost unreal...
There was such an overwhelming sense of Divine Intelligence...
That my faith and trust in Life increased exponentially.
For months afterwards I often felt like I was floating...
Flowing through life with a bliss and effortlessness I did not know was possible...
This was true freedom, I felt.
Eventually, life would humble me and show me there were still more layers to peel back, more lessons to learn...
(And there always will be.)
Fatherhood in particular has initiated a whole other level of healing process that has brought up deep layers of trauma I didn't know about...
Nonetheless, I sense these traumas would not have been able to come up to be healed, if it were not for all my previous work with ayahuasca and other entheogens.
Wounds come up to be healed only when we are ready to face them—when we have the spaciousness to hold them in love.
Ayahuasca taught me how to hold space for myself and all of life. She taught me how to trust, let go, and be loving presence on levels I had no idea about.
She initiated me, and continues to initiate me, into the path of love—learning to love myself and everyone around me with radical non-judgment.
I am forever changed by my work with ayahuasca.
Forever more trusting of life.
Forever more accepting of myself and whatever happens.
Forever more loving toward all beings.
Forever more courageous in going directly toward my truth and excitement.
