“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”
— Carl Jung
Do your shadow work.
That is, continually leave no stone unturned as you examine your own blindspots, hidden tendencies, and the subconscious energies and patterns that are influencing your behavior.
This has been a massive part of my path, especially the past 10 years or so.
It's indispensable if you wish to make significant strides in this lifetime toward embodying your deeper nature.
“Shadow” simply means “what has not yet been seen.” It is vital to realize that you have leaks, blindspots, and shadows that you cannot presently see.
This is not 'wrong' or 'bad.' It simply is.
Every being is doing what seems right and good in the context of their current reality-tunnel. Every being is in integrity with their current reality-tunnel, because that's all they currently know. All beings' actions are innocent and pure in the sense that they are simply acting according to what they see and know.
It is vital to see this, and it is also vital to see that some beings' reality-tunnels are far more narrow than others'.
In many ways the process of awakening and embodiment is simply a process of widening and widening your reality-tunnel, such that there is less and less that you are not seeing.
The vaster your reality-tunnel becomes, the better and lighter you will feel, because you are allowing more of the full truth of who you are into your awareness and being-ness. And the truth of who you are feels good. It liberates you.
There is no obligation to consciously widen your reality-tunnel—to consciously look for your blindspots and illuminate what is unseen.
Yet if you do not do this consciously, Life will do it for you. Life is the master teacher, and Life insists that all beings eventually expand in their remembrance of what they truly are. "The motion of Tao is return."
If you wait for Life to widen your reality-tunnel, and if you resist Life's attempts to show you your blindspots, the process will be vastly more painful. If you do not heed Life's more gentle "taps on the shoulder," the magnitude of catalysts will steadily increase until you are hit with a full-on "rude awakening"—a crisis or catastrophe.
You wouldn't want it any other way. You are Life, after all. You are nothing other than the pure loving intelligence of Life, and you designed everything this way. It's really quite an elegant design if you step back and admire it. Well done, you. :)
Shadow Work in Conscious Teams & Communities
In building conscious teams and communities, supreme discernment must be exercised in determining whether potential team or community members are capable of continuous deep shadow work. This is utterly fundamental.
"It only takes one leak to sink a ship," and if someone is not beyond a certain threshold of capacity to look at their own shadows and blindspots, this will have massive energetic consequences at some point down the line. A desire and capacity for radical self-honesty may be the most fundamental skill required of aspiring members of conscious teams and communities.
If discernment is not exercised early in the formation of conscious organisms—if beings in deep denial about their own shadow are allowed to become foundational nodes in New Earth networks—the inauspicious karmic impact will likely be severe. Thus discernment is of paramount importance.
Do your shadow work.
The best way to do shadow work is simply to be truly available and open to what every single moment of life is trying to show you about yourself.
Commit to this ongoingly. Commit to radical self-honesty.
It will make everything easier for you.
You can seal leaks and correct dysfunctions earlier, so Life won't have to deliver you a massive karmic roundhouse kick to the face later on.
You can also render yourself capable of being a valuable foundational node in one or more of the many New Earth super-organisms that are being birthed on this plane at this time.
In Sum
For God, nothing is hidden.
Total omniscience—at least in the realm of what is possible to know.
Thus, there are no shadows.
For us as God being human, there will always be more we have not yet seen. We kid ourselves if we believe otherwise.
Each moment is a revelation.
Always there is more subtlety to notice and integrate.
And this is beautiful.
It’s fun and juicy.
We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Love,
JB
P.S. What shadows or blindspots do you notice in me? Feel free to reply and send me reflections, now or at any future time, if you notice something. I welcome this feedback.

Love the post :)
I don't know if it was you, it may have been the I Ching: it said that in the start of any endeavor (e.g. relationship, company, etc.) if the initial seed has any shadow then the entire endeavor is doomed to fail at some point in the future.
So not acting from shadow-soaked ego, acting instead from a place of integration, seems to be vital for anything to be positively lasting <3
