Opening To Cathedral Stewardship.

Sharing a whispering possibility.

Note: I wrote this a few months ago, lightly edited it now, and felt like sharing with all of you. I am curious what will come to pass in the course of my lifetime in relation to these themes. May I continue to approach all of life as cathedral stewardship. Much love.

Dear Friends and Family,

My life’s work is to steward a Cathedral.

First and foremost, this is an internal and devotional orientation toward all of life.

All of life is the Cathedral.

The Eternal Now is the Cathedral.

‘My’ life is not my own; it is a Cathedral that has been entrusted to me.

I am invited to give ‘my’ life and home and family and all beings the Loving Care that I would give to the very Home And Children Of God.

I discover the true meaning of Cathedral Stewardship more deeply all the time.

It invites me into endless heart-cleansing, purification, thanksgiving, illumination, and sanctification on all levels.

It invites me to discover sacred, reverent, priestly ways of being.

Ancient ways, older than clock time.

Timeless, ageless, slow.

This is a sacramental initiation that has spontaneously occurred for many years, and has recently deepened and intensified.

And perhaps this Opening is meant to take on more concrete ‘outer’ expressions.

In a sense, it already has.

Our family is blessed to live in a beautiful home here on the edge of a German forest, and I endeavor with deepening resolve to treat our home as the Cathedral.

Sanctuary. Monastery. House of God.

And there is a whisper in my Heart.

A whisper that may be beckoning me toward a Vision.

This Vision feels Pure.

It seems not to come from lack or grasping.

There is a deep feeling that All has already been given. All is here now. This is it. ‘I’ continually arrive in the Home ‘I’ never departed. Now. God Is Now. The Gift is here. It has already been given. It is laid bare before us in each moment.

Now is Rest. We are Home. There is stillness and silence. Nothing is needed. The Lord is Risen.

And from this space of quietude…

There comes a whisper.

“Give it back. Give it away. Show them the Kingdom. Show them the Cathedral.”

There is a feeling of physical Cathedrals.

Sanctuaries. Churches. Monasteries.

A feeling that I, like many of us, may be called to co-steward such places.

There is an openness here around this idea.

A sense of non-forcing, non-grasping, non-craving.

A feeling that if the True Mother And Father wish for it to come to pass, nothing can stop it. It will ripen in its time.

I love this feeling. A feeling of pure contentment now. Needing nothing, allowing Christ Light to dream through me.

The Light of the Forever Beyond.

Father, Mother, if it be Thy Will, guide me to your Church, that I may serve as a humble caretaker.

We live in a time when churches are being forgotten.

Many are now given away, or entrusted to stewards for small, symbolic sums.

Perhaps a voice whispers at your window, family…

“Resurrect the Churches.”

Perhaps we are meant to open to the possibility of stewarding these noble structures.

With grace, humility, and charity.

In a spirit of joyful service.

I sense this is the case, and I know many are already enacting this with pure hearts.

The word “Catholic” comes from the Greek katholikos (καθολικός), which literally means “universal” or “according to the whole.”

I find it fitting and fascinating that I was raised Catholic, for in this deep and cosmic sense, I am truly a Catholic.

For the True Christ is Universal.

For you. For all.

Perhaps the churches of old are calling for the True Christ.

Perhaps the manmade institution of Christianity has been fading because most Christians forgot the true meaning and universality of Christ — forgot that Christ Is Omnipresent, And None Are Excluded From Christ’s Light.

The True Christ Light is personal, suprapersonal, present in all true religions, and beyond any religion. In my sensing, all paths ultimately lead to this Light and are expressions of this Light.

The True Christ is also a pattern, a way, a Logos. When we choose to align with this ‘narrow way’ of universal Love, we align with the end of war and the flowering of cosmic harmony.

The True Christ Light is the All-Present Ocean from which all religions, non-religions, and ways of life have emanated.

“Same water, different wells.”

When we live in transparent alignment with the Inmost Heart of this Loving Light, we feel true peace, wholeness, and thanksgiving; we live the way of Love and help bring Heaven to all worlds. When we live out of alignment with this Loving Light, we find ourselves in a lonely desert of despair. This is how the Light guides all of us Home to its Love.
