The Perfection of Now
What if this moment is perfect?
What if Now, just as it is, is perfect?
What is this is always the case?
What if nothing in existence needs to be changed?
What if there’s nothing to improve, heal, save, attain, accomplish, possess, prove, or become?
Nowhere to go, no one to be, nothing to do?
What if it’s all perfect?
This is not to suggest that action cannot or ‘should not’ happen.
Far from it.
Action inevitably, continually does happen.
Perfection loves to play, you see.
It loves to dance and create.
It even loves to pretend that it’s not perfection.
Yet it always is.
It never departs from itself.
Perfection is.
Play with this…
See if you can ratchet up your conviction that Perfection is Now by just 5% per day or week for a while…
Even when things seem seriously not-perfect, relentlessly ask, “What is the perfect gift or lesson hidden in this situation? What is the jewel hidden in the apparent mud?”
If you look for it, eventually you’ll always find it.
And even if you somehow don’t find it, then the jewel you’ve been given is this: A perfect opportunity to deepen into Trust.
Deepen that conviction, that faith, on and on, and keep looking for the confirmations…
Be open to the confirmations of the perfection of every situation…
This allows reality to show you directly.
The perfection becomes self-verifying.
Then you can begin to know this, not merely trust in it.
And if you do start to see that reality is perfect…
Well, what then?
What do you do in perfect reality?
Whatever lights you up!
Whatever sounds epic and fun!
Whatever sounds ridiculously awesome!
The pressure’s off, right?
It’s all perfect.
Mistakes are not possible.
All the consequences you may have previously feared are seen to be nothing other than possible ways the perfection could look.
So then you’re free!
Free to live your joy.
Free to live your highest excitement.
Free to playfully live your truth for the upliftment of the whole.
It’s legendary!
It’s groovy!
It’s jolly-good fun!
That’s all God is doing.
Having fun in infinitely novel and varied ways, for all of eternity.
