A question I offer for contemplation:
❤️🔥 What form of artful service can you joyously pour your heart and soul into for an entire lifetime?
This world holds a great deal of pain. Gaia and her children are crying out for lion-hearted beings to share medicine from the heart. Within yourself you hold a unique antidote that you can offer to help ease and heal our collective sorrows.
What is this salve that you hold within yourself?
What is the calling that you are truly inspired to pursue?
What feels so igniting and enlivening that you could pour yourself into it for a lifetime with gratitude and enthusiasm?
As humans we often tend to think in terms of solving short-term challenges—but Lion Heart Leadership invites us to take the long view. It's about settling into the lifelong journey. It's about your life's work. It's about finding our genuine vocational callings and joyfully letting them live us. We tend to over-fixate on what we can do in 1 year and overlook what we can create in 50 years through diligent, steady, inspired action. When we find the inexhaustible wellspring of true inspiration, we can allow it to spontaneously blossom us for a lifetime and beyond.
This will surely look different for each one of us. It can look like anything. It doesn't have to look like doing the same thing for your entire life. Yet there will tend to be a certain thread of aliveness — a scent of you-ness — a strain of your unique medicine — that begins to make itself known and begins to weave itself into/as all that you do and all that you are in this world. The notion of a 'work-life balance' may gradually fade into irrelevance as your entire life becomes your work of art. As your entire existence becomes a playful expression of your theme — your chorus — your devotional song.
I hope these words invite all of us into beneficial contemplation of our vocational callings. Brick by brick, our every action and creation is building the cathedral of our future. If we build from a foundation of integrity, service, devotion, joy, love, and genuine inspiration, our lives shall become awe-inspiring healing sanctuaries that celebrate and glorify the Most High.
With Love,
Jordan
"Therefore the Master
acts without doing anything
and teaches without saying anything.
Things arise and she lets them come;
things disappear and she lets them go.
She has but doesn’t possess,
acts but doesn’t expect.
When her work is done, she forgets it.
That is why it lasts forever.
[...]
The Tao is like a well:
used but never used up.
It is like the eternal void:
filled with infinite possibilities.
It is hidden but always present.
I don’t know who gave birth to it.
It is older than God.
[...]
The Tao is called the Great Mother:
empty yet inexhaustible,
it gives birth to infinite worlds.
It is always present within you.
You can use it any way you want."
