Even though I founded and run a ‘successful business’…
I’m not really a fan of the word “business.”
I don’t like the connotations.
The energy around the word just feels kinda cold, calculated, impersonal, and even parasitic.
As such, I choose not to see my work as a business.
Instead, I see it all as HEARTISTRY.
I see it all as art.
I do not separate my art from my ‘business.’
To me it is all an expression of the same energy & essence of what I AM.
There is a certain flavor of Love that I am meant to share with this world…
And I see ALL OF LIFE as a medium for the artistic expression of that flavor.
Yes, it’s true:
I approach ALL OF LIFE as art.
And I can recommend it.
Everything becomes more enchanted, fascinating, and life-giving when approached as art.
Let’s take business as an example…
The way I approach business is like this:
Instead of building a business, I see myself as designing & fine-tuning a vehicle for artful creation & omni-win-win exchanges of energy.
Instead of coldly constructing a product, I see myself as birthing medicinal offerings & creations from the heart.
Instead of marketing and selling, I see myself as artistically building a bridge so that my soul fam can find me and recognize my work as the thing they were (unknowingly) looking for.
When I’m designing a men’s circle or a retreat or a 1:1 coaching journey with someone, I see it in the same way I see my music and writing: An artistic expression of my heart & soul.
I aim to bring the same craft, care, reverence, playfulness, love, spontaneity, spirituality, and philosophical depth into all my creations.
This approach makes business feel WAY MORE FUN and TRUE and ALIGNED.
If more people saw business and life as an artistic medium, I believe that…
TREMENDOUS SOUL-ALIGNED CREATIVITY would be unlocked.
And the world would become a more beautiful place.
