I Am Incredibly Human

I am incredibly HUMAN!!

Oh so very HUMAN!!

Human, all too HUMAN!!

Full of light and love and joy, yes...

And full also of rage, anxiety, shame, hate, vice, pain, vengeance, fear, jealousy, lust, greed, and violence!

How could it not be so?

I am man after all, and man has killed more of his own than any known species.

I am man!

Gradually I cease to shrink from and repress this darker side of what I am...

For only by seeing it, knowing it intimately, befriending it, taking responsibility for it, loving it, and ultimately integrating it...

Can it truly be transfigured into a great and powerful Dragon ally — a Dragon in service to Love. 🖤🐉🖤
