I did two paintings hearkening back to the Kennedy assassination. One of paintings in particular focused on the moment when Jack Ruby shot Oswald as he was being escorted through the Dallas precinct basement to the waiting police van. I painted the Tide laundry detergent logo in the right hand corner and wrote along the bottom Tide’s famous tag line, “Getting rid of those nasty stains!”
Our collective shadows demand a scapegoat be it Oswald, Ruby or for that matter Kennedy. Your deft analysis regarding this sticky subject of evil in terms of non-dual energy strikes the same note I endeavored to visualize in my painting.
