You had quite an experience. I get scared when I start to hear that your experience was not about YOU. This happened after YOU ingested a substance, and YOUR mind was in an altered state, and now you are explaining it to us based on YOUR understanding. This was literally you.
Here's why I get scared. When somebody starts believing their experience is the real reality that others need to see, when they believe they have a knowledge of god that others must experience, nearly anything becomes possible in the name of enlightening others. And sure enough: "Because the Mission and the Truth are vastly more important than the opinions of a few silly man-apes." It is a small- and seductive- step to make your vision more important than even the very lives of the people who deny it, those "silly man-apes." How many people have suffered and died because they got in the way of someone's mission or vision of the truth?
Maybe that giant tarantula is a person you haven't learned to love? You keep directing your love at it so that it will change. In other words, you can only love it if it is different than what it is. That's a way of suffering. You get to pick the lesson you learn from your confrontation with the tarantula.
Or maybe there’s an actual energy parasite giant tarantula under the surface of the Earth. I’m not saying I know that it’s true, because I haven’t experienced it, but I don’t think you should assume you have a better understanding of Jordan’s experience and his intentions in sharing it than he does
I don't understand his experience as well as he does, agreed. I fear he is making his experience a universal perspective that everyone needs to follow.
