I recently published a new video on why Trump triggers men—and the hidden opportunity therein.
You’re welcome to go watch the video or read the transcript here:
Why Trump Triggers & Activates Men
Let's talk for a minute today about why Donald Trump triggers men.
Donald Trump has a strong tendency to trigger just about everyone, and he really deeply triggers men. If you notice, he tends to trigger men in one of two directions:
He either triggers them in a very negative way, where they really hate him—a lot of men really hate Trump—and it brings up a lot for them. It brings up some kind of deep pain, some kind of deep fear, to see Donald Trump being who he is and doing what he does.
On the other hand, he also tends to trigger a lot of men in a positive way, which could be called more of an activation. He tends to activate a lot of men because they see somebody who is moving through the world like a force of nature, like a wrecking ball.
Setting aside the specific content of what Trump is doing, it’s interesting just to look at the meta-picture of seeing a man in the world who is truly on a mission. Whether you agree with the man's mission or not, the man is clearly on a mission. He’s making massive moves. We've never seen a president in our lifetime hit the ground running like this and start making so many massive changes.
He embodies certain masculine archetypes: the archetypes of the Warrior, the CEO, the King, and yes, potentially the Shadow King—some of the less wholesome versions of these archetypes. I'm not here to claim that Donald Trump is the most wholesomely integrated or the most trustworthy man in the world. I don’t know. That's not really what this video is about. But it's very interesting to notice the way in which some men find Trump's massive action very activating and inspiring. It makes them feel galvanized.
In that sense, I would consider myself more on the ‘activated’ side of the spectrum. When I see men like Donald Trump and Elon Musk taking massive action, having a clear vision, having a clear mission, and just penetrating the world with that solar energy of clear vision, clear action, and clear mission, it activates something in me—a primal masculine desire to actualize my will in the world, to create in the world, to take big action, to get things done.
There’s a deep part of every man that desires to penetrate the world with his solar energy—to spark and birth new projects, new possibilities, and new creations. He desires to have some kind of deep, single-pointed purpose. And so when I see that, I find it activating and galvanizing. Again, setting aside the specific content, if I just look at men on a mission, there’s something about that that is activating for me.
It’s interesting to notice that a lot of men, again, get very deeply triggered by Donald Trump. And there are many reasons for that. I'm not trying to collapse it all down to this one reason. But I do think that part of why a lot of men get triggered by Donald Trump is that he is embodying that "man on a mission" archetype at such a high level.
There are many, many men today who do not have a sense of mission, who do not have a sense of purpose, who feel stagnant, suppressed, depressed—who feel flaccid, who feel impotent.
Part of what’s happening, and they may not realize this… (I think in most cases they don't, and they come up with other rationalizations for why they don’t like Donald Trump)... But part of why they don’t like him is because…
He’s showing them their own unintegrated power.
He’s showing them their own unintegrated masculine power and what it looks like for a man to call upon those recesses of ancient masculine power, point that single-pointedly toward a mission and a vision, and become the proverbial wrecking ball—capable of striking this planet like a meteorite and making things happen, getting things done.
So, the invitation I would offer to men out there is to really look deeply within yourself and take the time to set aside the specific content of what Trump is doing.
Ask yourself: Is there something for you to learn and receive from Donald Trump?
Is there something that this triggering—this activation—can bring forth for you? Is there a way in which, rather than hating your own inner Donald Trump, you might actually be invited to integrate and love your inner Donald Trump?
That doesn’t mean becoming Donald Trump. It’s more about integrating that ancient masculine power—to become a man on a mission, whatever your vision is. If you integrate that power, you’re going to be much more effective in the world—much more capable of actualizing, penetrating, creating, manifesting, and bringing forth whatever that vision is.
So that’s what I would invite men to ask themselves: Is there an invitation in the embodiment, the beingness of Donald Trump, that is calling you to activate? Is it inviting you to let that "man on a mission" archetype activate within you?
Because on a deep level, I feel that every man wants to actualize that.
Which man, in his heart of hearts, truly wants to feel sluggish, impotent, flaccid, undirected, without purpose, and without a clear sense of mission—without knowing why he’s here in the world and what he’s doing?
I don’t think there’s a man on Earth who, in his heart, really wants to feel that way. Maybe there is—who knows? But for the vast majority of men, no—that's not what we really want.
So, allow the archetypal embodiment of Donald Trump—if it's deeply triggering you—to be an opportunity. Allow the possibility that there’s an activation trying to take place.
You don’t have to love Donald Trump. You don’t have to agree with everything he’s doing to allow that activation to take place. You can set aside the content of what he's doing and ask:
Is it possible that I’m being so triggered by this guy because he is a single-pointed battering ram of masculine energy and masculine purpose? And am I actually being invited to embody more of those energies in my own life, in support of whatever mission my heart is called to pursue—whatever my North Star happens to be?
That’s the invitation today, men.
And one last invitation: If you want to embody more of that purpose, more of that mission in your life, consider joining a men’s circle. Consider joining men’s work. Consider joining the men’s work that I lead. I’ve been leading men’s work for years now. We do a great job of balancing heart and fire. It’s a very loving space that holds you exactly as you are, yet there’s also a compassionate fire that invites you to step into that purpose. It invites you to step into that mission. It invites you to actualize your gifts in the world.
So, if that speaks to you—if that calls to you—check out the link in the description and apply to join us in the Brotherhood.
Much love, brothers. Thank you for listening.
Peace to you. Take good care. Take it easy. See you later.
Love,
J

What are your thoughts on this message?
I’m curious to hear from you.
I imagine a lot of people would not like to hear this message. It applies to plenty of women as well, though I am choosing to speak more pointedly to men because I lead men’s work.
Speaking of which…
As I shared above, I’m hosting two free events for men this week. Let me tell you more about that.
Brother,
It’s happening tomorrow and Sunday.
In 24 hours at 11am EST we have our first free men’s event—Exploring the Future of Manhood. 🔥
Will you seize this opportunity to connect to a circle of brave men on the path of purpose?
Brother, This Is Your Call to Rise. 🔥
You are not alone.
We live in initiatory times, and we’re not meant to be lone wolves.
Modern culture and spirituality often teach men to be soft, agreeable, flaccid, and fluffy. Strong masculinity is frequently demonized.
In becoming disillusioned with the shadows of historic masculinity, the cultural pendulum has now over-corrected in the opposite direction.
All of this is a valid exploration & natural evolution, yet it has left millions of men feeling lost, confused, ineffective, anxious, depressed, addicted, and purposeless.
For spiritual men, the large tendency I observe is a high degree of open-heartedness, awareness, and internal evolution—accompanied by a lack of strong single-pointed masculine will & capacity to build, execute missions, get shit done in the world, and forge a legacy.
Imagine if we changed that.
Imagine an army of warriors of the heart—spiritual men who are activated, charged up, vitally connected to primal life force, and ready to *make moves* and *get shit done* on this planet.
That would be a force to be reckoned with.
So how do we get there?
Men’s work is key.
Men’s work not only taps into the ancient heart-power of authentic brotherhood—it provides a space to reclaim the primal force inside you.
The strength to lead, to love fiercely, to stand unwavering in your truth. It’s about sharpening your edge, not numbing it.
It’s about stepping out of isolation into a circle of men who have your back, challenge you, and call you forward.
You don’t need more distractions. You need a forge.
You need a circle of brothers holding a strong field of unconditional love-fire that cherishes you just as you are while activating your greatness.
Don’t take my word for it. Come find out.
Tomorrow’s circle is free and open to all men.
A prime zero-risk opportunity to sample the medicine of men’s work for yourself.
Will you join us, brother?
If you can’t make it tomorrow, join us this Sunday instead for round two. You’re also welcome to join both. 🔥
These events will include:
💪 Physical embodiment activation
❤️🔥 Brotherhood heart-sharing circle
🧘♂️ Guided meditation
🧬 Group dialogue on the future of manhood & masculinity
🔥 Maybe a surprise or two
What Men Say About the Men’s Work I Lead
Here are some things men have said about my uniquely expansive, integral flavor of evolutionary men’s work:
“One of the most beautiful and transformative and important things that has ever happened to me."
— Edward, Sweden
"Jordan is a proficient and fiery leader in guiding his brothers through men's work. This container he's created is a potent catalyst, allowing men to fully step into their innate power and prevail on the battlefield of life."
— Adam, USA
“As a men’s work facilitator and creative entrepreneur, Jordan’s men’s work has been an indispensable resource in supporting my initiatory process in over 20 months of weekly circles. He brings an unconventional and highly creative approach that stirs the alchemical pot of men’s work every month through different themes and exercises. His work has helped to bring out my masculine fire, my fiscal and creative vision, my connection to sacred ground, my inner child’s play, my lover and my king.
I’ve stepped out beyond myself again and again and been held lovingly in that evolution, receiving countless timely gems of wisdom along the way.”
— Jacob K, UK
“Being a part of this Brotherhood has transformed who I am as a person. I feel so much stronger, confident, openhearted and most importantly more truly myself. It's a beautiful feeling to be so transparent and real with one another and to feel that the guys have your back and are with you no matter what.
The Brotherhood embodies an unconditional love that fully accepts you where you are and as you are, but also sees your potential, holds you accountable and pushes you to be the best you can be. I'd highly recommend this group to anyone who feels a calling."
— Jacob S, UK
"Jordan is an amazing guide in the process of introspection and collective men’s work. He listens extremely well, holds space with poise and leadership, models vulnerability and authenticity, and combines safety with a sense of challenge that has been extremely useful in my growth process.
This brotherhood offers a safe space to be a man, to share and accept all parts of yourself in a container free of judgement, and to grow and evolve into the type of person you want to be. For me, the brotherhood inspired vulnerability, courage, introspection, validation, and integration so that I could make real choices and changes in my life and continue to grow."
— Kenny, USA
Is 2025 the year that everything changes?
Join us tomorrow and find out.
Love & Fire,
Jordan
this is an awesome article! I appreciate it especially given I know it's likely an unpopular opinion in many spiritual circles :D
I love your work Jordan, and your vision for integrated, conscious, participating men. In this case, I agree with Scott above: to be offering Trump as an avatar of 'man on a mission energy' when he is the very embodiment of dark masculine risks inadvertently legitimising his autocratic tendencies -- which I am sure is not your intent. I am saying this because I am a huge admirer of your vision and the way you conduct yourself. But in this post, I would have loved to have seen you illuminating Trump as a case study of 'wounded masculine', and clearly identify how his 'activating' power is being used to extremely dangerous ends. Offering you this with huge respect, solidarity and appreciation of all you bring into the world with your own unique frequency of beautiful, powerfully embodied solar energy. I find you an inspiration.
